The only Italian event devoted entirely to modern distribution will take place in Bologna on 14-15 January 2015.
In spite of the downward trend in overall consumption, particularly during the last four years, private label produce is continuing to grow and has seen its market share rise from 11.5% in 2005 to 18.9% in 2014 (source: SymphonyIRI).
This figure confirms the growing appreciation of private label products amongst consumers as a result of their excellent price/quality ratio.

The modern retail system and private label products are a strategic resource for expanding the distribution of Italian produce both nationally and internationally and for promoting the excellence of Italian origin, thereby contributing to the growth of agro-food districts.
