Entitled “Sustainable packaging: from eco-design to smart logistics”, the Lab Packaging workshop will be back at the next edition of Marca to discuss the strategic goal of sustainability in the packaging industry through the use of functional, safe and smart packaging with a lower environmental impact, particularly in the large-scale retail sector.

The event will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday 18 January (Packaging Lab Area, Hall 18). Organised by the staff of PackagingSpace (BE-MA Editrice) and BolognaFiere, the workshop will be moderated by Chiara Bezzi, director of the packaging area of BE-MA Editrice.

It will be an important networking opportunity for all players in the large-scale production and retail sector. Issues addressed will include eco-efficient packaging, smart packaging and eco-design for the production of high-quality packaging with superior environmental performance.
