The key strength of MARCA lies in its programme of conferences and specialist workshops, a comprehensive training and information platform offering all players in the sector important opportunities for discussion and analysis.

On Wednesday 13 January the show will begin as usual with the presentation of the ADM Conference.

The 12th Annual Private Label Report produced in cooperation with Adem Lab, a spin-off of the University of Parma, and based on data provided by IRI, will be held on Thursday 14 January.

The afternoon of the opening day will be devoted to the MARCA Tech seminars. The first, entitled “The 3 Rs of sustainable packaging: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”, organised by the Packagingspace staff of BEMA Editrice, will explore the issue of green packaging and will focus in particular on the latest technologies, innovative materials, current regulations, and the management of disposal, recycling and reuse.

The second seminar, entitled “Materials in contact with food: the requirements of MOCA (food contact materials and objects) and how to meet them. The experience of companies, laboratories and control bodies”, will focus on fish and food safety and will discuss the experiences of companies and control body laboratories. Last but not least, the conference organised by Assobio will be held on the afternoon of Thursday 14 January.
