Over the years Marca has become an increasingly important event for international buyers, giving them a unique opportunity to discover the very best of Italian Private Label (PL) production.
The numbers of official delegations and individual buyers have increased dramatically over the last three years, with certified growth standing at around 19%. A strong presence is likewise expected at the 2017 show with delegations from more than 30 countries, including Germany, Canada, the USA and the Netherlands.
This demonstrates the growing international recognition of Marca, which is strengthening its role as a key event for the sector aimed at creating new business opportunities between the Large-Scale Retail sector and the Private Label Business Community.
Designed to facilitate B2B contacts between international buyers and Italian companies, the online platform B2Match allows buyers to plan their visit in advance by arranging meetings with exhibitors. It also facilitates the sharing of information between buyers and co-packers so as to make the meetings as effective as possible. The meetings will be held in a dedicated, high-quality space in the International Lounge, the area reserved for B2B meetings aimed at strengthening the presence of Italian products in foreign markets.
