As in previous years, the 14th edition of Marca will once again seeing an expansion in the show’s international reach thanks to the participation of a growing number of foreign buyers and a significant presence of category managers from the world of retail.

In partnership with the Modern Distribution Association ADM and with the support of the Italian Trade Agency ITA, the show’s organiser BolognaFiere has made significant investments aimed at reaching out to VIP buyers from all over the world, thereby bringing together supply and demand and responding to the growing interest on the part of international professionals.

In addition to the buyers from Europe and USA, there will be a selected delegation of category managers from China, thanks to the activation of the project “Organic Food Organic Mood”, created by the European Union and the Italian Government and promoted by FederBio. This 3 year programme aims to strengthen the role of the food industry connections, with a particular focus on the biofood sector, in non-EU countries like China.

The primary aim of the VIP Buyer Program is to promote networking between Italian companies and international buyers. For this purpose, the list of category managers participating in Marca will be published in the exhibitors’ private areas of the Marca website from December onwards to enable them to send messages requesting meetings at their stands.
