The upcoming Marca, the exhibition of private label products to be held in the Bologna exhibition centre on 13 and 14 January 2016, will be hosting the debut of the ADI Packaging Design Award @ Marca 2016, an award organised jointly by Marca and ADIPer with the collaboration of the ADI Emilia-Romagna Delegation.

The aim of the award is to celebrate excellence in the packaging industry and to recognise a maximum of five products created in 2015 and displayed in the exhibition’s various product categories. The selection offers a preview of the ADI Design Index 2016, the Italian design annual published by ADI Associazione Disegno Industriale, which in turn chooses the products submitted each year to the Compasso d’Oro award, one of the oldest and most coveted design awards in the world.

The award ceremony will be held on the first day of the show with the presentation of plaques to the winners.
